66 books, one incredible message

God’s Word is many things–instructive, historical, poetic. Yet to Jennifer Rothschild, the Bible is also an incredible love letter. In 66 Ways God Loves You, she walks you through each of the sixty-six books of the Bible and shows, in concise and thoughtful ways, how every book reflects God’s love for each of us, such as:

  • In Genesis God fashions me with His hands.
  • In Esther He makes me royalty.
  • In Acts God’s Spirit comes to live in me.
  • In 1 Peter God gives me victory over suffering.

Each chapter includes a succinct, meaningful reading on the message of that book in the Bible, along with a simple takeaway to help you bring the message to light in your own heart and life.

My thoughts:

God loves you! Let me count the ways... 66 Ways God Loves You by Jennifer RothschildThe Bible is indeed God’s love letter to us. 66 Ways God Loves You takes each book of the Bible and beautifully captures the essence of God’s “love note” to each of us, offering bite-sized nuggets to reflect on throughout the day.

We all have days when the discouragement of the world seeps into our minds. But Philippians 4:8 says we are to think about those things that are true and excellent. This sweet little book offers truth that will counter the discouragement as we reflect on who He is, who we are in Him, and what He has done for us. From the formation of the world to the creation of a new Heaven and new Earth, the truth is “God is love.” He loves you! Let me count the ways!

Whether you are a new believer or you have followed Christ for many, many years, you are sure to find comfort in the pages of this book.

That God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son.

    John 3:16 <3

  3. I don’t have a specific verse. I just know that God is with me in every thing that I do throughout the day.

“I have loved with an everlasting love” is one of my favorite verses about God’s love. This sounds like an awesome devotional! Thank you for the giveaway!

John 3:16 comes to mind first. Then “While we were yet sinners Christ died for us”. Probably not the correct words completely and I forget the reference. But we were sinners and he still died for us. Love. So many verses come to mind. Those 2 were the 1st.

Like so many, I think of John 3:16 first and for most. I love that verse and it truly reminds me of how much not only God loves us but Jesus as well.

John 3:16 shows us God’s tremendous love and His plan of salvation butbi also appreciate that the reassurance offered in Luke 12:7 NIV
“Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

  8. I am so intrigued by this book. My favorite verse: I have loved you with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3
